Graduate: Student Awards & Honors:
AAP University Poetry Prize

Deadline for 2004 competition: Morning of April 15, 2004

Every fall, Temple students are eligible to compete for the Academy of American Poets University Poetry Prize. Winners receive a small financial prize ($100) and are announced in American Poet, the Academy's biannual journal.

Applicants should submit a blind copy of their poem or poems (max. 8 pages, typed) and a cover letter that includes their permanent address, social security number, and current contact information (including email address). Materials should be placed in Rachel DuPlessis’s mailbox on the 10th floor of Anderson Hall or given to Sharon Logan in 1027 Anderson. This contest will be judged anonymously by an alumnus/alumna of Temple’s M.A. in English/Creative Writing.
