Announcement regarding change in graduate degree program names.

Graduate Programs Overview

The College of Engineering is one of several colleges and schools at Temple University that offer graduate degree programs. The College consists of three academic departments:

  • Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
  • Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Department of Mechanical Engineering

Graduate degree programs:

Master of Science (MS)

Doctorate

Highlights

  • Students can choose to complete a master's thesis, an independent research project, or with the permission of the relevant department, a coursework option.
  • Financial support in the form of teaching and research assistantships, or university fellowships are available to qualified students.
  • The master's and doctoral degree programs may be completed on a full-time or part-basis.
  • Courses have a low teacher to student ratio.
  • Students have opportunities to engage in cutting-edge research funded by prestigious agencies, including the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the PennDOT, and the American Heart Association.

Master of Science in Engineering in Civil Engineering

Master of Science in Civil Engineering

Master of Science in Engineering in Electrical Engineering

Master of Science in Electrical Engineering

Master of Science in Engineering in Mechanical Engineering

Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering

The degree requirements have not changed. The College and the University are working to update the paper and online application form and other material to reflect the change in name. In the meantime, applicants should select the degree with the previous degree name when completing an application.
