Employment Opportunities at the College of Engineering
As part of its continuing expansion, the College of Engineering at Temple University has several openings for tenure track/tenured faculty positions in the Departments of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, and , Mechanical Engineering. Candidates specializing in all areas of engineering will be considered. New faculty members are expected to implement externally funded research programs and achieve excellence in teaching. Applicants should hold earned doctoral degrees in their own fields. Salaries are highly competitive and substantial resources have been allocated for start-up funding. Applicants should submit curriculum vitae, three recent publications, and a statement of goals, research objectives and teaching philosophy. Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering: Faculty at all ranks with emphasis on biological systems. Preference will be given for expertise in Biotechnology, Process Design or in-situ treatment.
Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering: Department Chair who is a proven mid-career or senior scholar and researcher, and who will provide leadership in academic matters.
Department of Mechanical Engineering: Faculty at all ranks with expertise relevant to energy technologies including process modeling and control and/or transport phenomena.
