Graduate Programs

The College of Engineering is one of several colleges and schools at Temple University that offer graduate degree programs. The College consists of three academic departments:

  • Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
  • Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Department of Mechanical Engineering

  • Graduate Research
  • Students can choose to complete a master’s thesis, an independent research project, or with the permission of the relevant department, a coursework option.
  • Financial support in the form of teaching and research assistantships, or university fellowships are available to qualified students.
  • The master’s and doctoral degree programs may be completed on a full-time or part-basis.
  • Financial assistance in the form of Teaching or Research Assistantships, or University Fellowships, are available to qualified, full-time students. A stipend, tuition remission, and health insurance are included.
  • Courses have a low teacher to student ratio.
  • Students have opportunities to engage in cutting-edge research funded by prestigious agencies, including the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, the PennDOT, and the American Heart Association.
