Temple University’s College of Engineering is in the midst of a major faculty recruiting effort to expand its academic and research programs in several areas including renewable/alternative energy, environmental engineering and bioengineering. As a part of this effort, the Department of Mechanical Engineering has an open tenure track faculty position at the rank of assistant, associate, or full professor. Successful candidates will have a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or a closely related field, be able to develop a significant research program, and provide effective instruction at undergraduate and graduate levels in mechanical engineering. Applicants with expertise in all areas of mechanical engineering especially renewable/alternative energy, dynamic systems & control, and bioengineering are encouraged to apply. This position should promote research collaborations with the College of Science and Technology and/or the School of Medicine at Temple University. Salaries for faculty are highly competitive and significant resources have been allocated for start-up.
