Graduate Programs Overview

The College of Engineering is one of several colleges and schools at Temple University that offer graduate degree programs. The College consists of three academic departments:

  • Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
  • Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
  • Department of Mechanical Engineering

Graduate degree programs:

Master of Science in Engineering (MSE)

Master of Science (MS)

Doctorate

The MSE degree prepares the student to advance in their profession by combining broad aspects of engineering theory and practice. The MS in Bioengineering is an interdisciplinary degree program that concentrates in engineering research applied to healthcare and related areas. Both research and non-research options are available in MSE and MS degree programs.

Graduates who pursue the research option are prepared to enter the doctoral program and all graduates are prepared to enter high-tech industry as an immediate contributor.

The Ph.D. in Engineering is intended for outstanding individuals who wish to pursue careers in industry, government, or academia in a high-level, creative environment.
