Employment Opportunities

The College of Engineering, Temple University invites applications for the position of Chair in Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and a Senior Faculty position. The College is expanding its doctoral, master’s, and ABET accredited undergraduate degree programs and the Chair will provide leadership in academic matters. The chair should be a proven and established scholar and researcher. New faculty members are expected to implement an externally funded research program and achieve excellence in teaching. Candidates specializing in all areas of electrical and computer engineering will be considered. Applicants should hold an earned doctoral degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or closely related fields.  Salaries for new faculty members are highly competitive and substantial resources have been allocated for start-up funding.  Applicants should submit curriculum vitae, three recent publications, and a statement of goals, research objectives and teaching philosophy.  The Chair candidate should also include a statement describing leadership and management style.   Applications may be sent by mail to
