Initial Teacher Certification - Career and Technical Education Programs
In collaboration with the Center for Professional Development in Career and Technical Education, three additional bachelor’s + certification programs can be completed:
- Business, Computer, and Information Technology Education: The program is designed to prepare individuals who are interested in teaching in the Business, Computer, and Information Technology occupational fields. Individuals admitted into the program must complete 128 credit hours of coursework, field experience and student teaching. Upon the successful completion of the program, individuals receive the bachelor's degree in education and an endorsement for PA Level I Instructional Certificate.
- Industrial education: The program is designed to prepare individuals who are interested in teaching in the Trades and Industrial occupational areas. Individuals admitted into the program must complete 128 credit hours of coursework, field experience and student teaching. Upon the successful completion of the program, individuals receive the bachelor's degree in education and an endorsement for PA Vocational Instructional Level I Certificate.
- Marketing education: The program is designed to prepare individuals who are interested in teaching in the Marketing occupational fields. Individuals admitted into the program must complete 128 credit hours of coursework, field experience and student teaching. Upon the successful completion of the program, individuals receive the bachelor's degree in education and an endorsement for PA Level I Instructional Certificate.
