Teacher Certification in Pennsylvania

In order to get certified in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, all prospective candidates must have completed the following:

1. a state-approved teacher preparation program that included a student teaching experience;
2. Praxis I and II Assessments; and
3. Certification application submitted online via the Teacher Information Management System (TIMS): PA-TIMS.com
