In Fall 2011, the College of Education established the Communications Council consisting of the Director of Communications, Director of Marketing & Enrollment Marketing, Director of Graduate Programs, Director of Undergraduate Studies, and the Director of Information & Instructional Technology.
Need a brochure, program description, e-ad, web presentation, invitation or announcement of an upcoming event? Please submit a Project Request to the Communications Council. The College has a productive relationship with Temple University's office of Creative Services and maintains an attractive, consistent look for all communications. Allow plenty of time for anything printed (up to 12 weeks). Electronic communications are much quicker to design and prepare, and we can do them in-house. For a sampling of College publications.
The University requires that we use our assigned graphic identity on all publications. The official College of Education logo should appear on all flyers, brochures, letters, and other documents produced for distribution or display – including notices posted in Ritter Hall. The following people have copies of the College of Education graphic in case you need it: Lori Bailey, Valerie Gay, David Devenney (CITE), Marcia Whitaker (ELPS), and Geri Ball (PSE). Electronic copies of stationary are also available for your e-letters. In addition, Creative Services has designed a visual presentation standard for the College. All publications should feature both the Temple University graphic and the College image. A number of templates, including templates for program descriptions, are being designed, which programs will be able to customize. For help incorporating the College graphic, contact Lori Bailey.
For detailed guidelines, see the Temple University Graphic Identity Standards.
In Fall 2011, the Communications Council developed a Listserv Management & Use Policy to establish guidelines for creating postings and to delineate how to request postings to the College of Education faculty, staff, and student listservs (maintained in Blackboard). Please review the policy for detailed information.
