August Graduation 2009

Greetings August 2009 Graduates:

Congratulations on this milestone in your education!

There is no formal ceremony for August graduates. However, you are most cordially invited to attend our January 2010 ceremony. If you are interested in attending, please contact the College for instructions on letting us know.

Undergrads: Maryann McGrory

We have included information below that you will need to know if you decide to attend in January.

Must I respond to attend the College of Education Diploma Conferral?

Yes. In order for your name to be announced and receive your diploma you must let us know you plan to attend. Please contact the appropriate staff person listed above for details.

Are tickets required for my guests, and how many guests may attend?

Tickets are not required for the College of Education Diploma Conferral Ceremony. There is no limit to the number of guests that can attend.

Will I receive announcements?

Students who attend will receive 5 courtesy announcements. Announcements are not required for guests to be admitted to the College of Education ceremony.

If I received my diploma in August will my name be announced?

Yes. Should you choose to attend your name will be called and you will be handed a symbolic scroll.

Must I purchase academic regalia?

The wearing of academic regalia (cap/tassel/gown/hood) is required for participation in the College of Education ceremony.

How do I purchase academic regalia?

All necessary items are available for purchase on-line at www.temple.edu/bookstore.

What if I choose not to attend the ceremony?

Diplomas will be mailed to you approximately four weeks after your August graduation date.
