The College of Education Bachelor's and
Master's Graduation Ceremony
- 3:00 P.M. Graduates are asked to
report to McGonigle Hall
Guests should proceed and take their own seats.
Graduates are asked to report to 145 Pearson, and proceed directly to the registration tables for their degree. Graduates must check-in promptly, so that the program can begin and end on time.
Each graduate will receive a card with his/her name. Please line-up, in designated degree area. If your name is difficult to pronounce, please print a phonetic spelling of your name on the card.

P.M. All
graduates must be lined up and ready to go.
- The program will begin with a procession of the graduates to their seats.
- This will be followed by a procession of the faculty to the stage.
- Please remain standing
until the processional music has stopped.
- After the formalities and speakers, graduates will be asked to stand and proceed to the foot of
the stairs located at the stage. A Dean's office representative will be
at the stairs to assist you in the procession across the stage. Graduates are to walk onto the stage, hand their name card to the announcer to have their name read, receive the symbolic scroll, and have
their photo taken with the Dean. Graduates will then exit the stage and return to their
seats and remain seated until the conclusion of the program.
- At the conclusion of the ceremony there will be a
recessional. The Dean and faculty will exit the stage down the center aisle.
Please stand and remain standing until the faculty recessional has concluded.
To alleviate congestion on the floor, we strongly recommend that graduates
arrange to meet their guests at a predetermined location.
- A reception will immediately follow the ceremony.
- Official diplomas will be mailed to the address provided on your application to graduate.
Photographs

or 1-800-447-2550) will be present to take your photo as you are handed your
diploma. Legacy will send all graduates a notification on how to order your
photo.
