At Temple University's College of Education, we work to improve the lives of students and their families through education. We prepare school professionals with the skills and knowledge that they need to succeed while conducting innovative research in support of this mission. Our faculty study how children learn and grow, how to enable diverse groups of students to achieve academic success, how the psychology of individuals and families impacts student performance, and how the sociology of urban environments influences schools. The College is committed to expanding its positive impact on our schools and to enhance educational practice with effective evidence-based solutions.

TUTeach Endorsement Challenge

The National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) has issued a $1M challenge grant to TUteach: raise $1M in cash to support the TUteach endowment by July 31, 2012 and NMSI will match the funds with $1M. This is an “all-or-nothing” challenge, so there is a sense of great urgency to meet this goal.  To date, we have raised approximately $560,000 towards the goal. Please consider checking the "TUTeach box" when determining the destination of some or all of your gift funds. Thank you!
