Programs

University Studies provides academic and transitional support to first-year students. We help students become acquainted with Temple University as well as provided academic and career exploration assistance to our students. Below are descriptions of the programs we offer.

Deciding Student Wing
The Deciding Student Wing is an innovative program that familiarizes new students with residential living while supporting them in their academic and social transition to the Temple community. This theme housing opportunity is designed for students who are uncertain about majors and careers and want to live in an environment that promotes academic and career exploration. Undeclared majors in University Studies are eligible to reside on this wing.

Freshman Focus Week & "Spring" into Success
Freshman Focus Week is a week long series of workshops in the Fall semester designed to help new students with the transition to university life. "Spring" into Success is a follow-up series workshops in the Spring semester, designed to continue the theme of student success.
