University-sponsored Career Development Services
Temple University’s Career Development Service (CDS) offers comprehensive employment resources for students seeking internships, career positions and part-time student employment. CDS is a full service department that offers assistance in step-by-step career planning to develop a strategy for the job search. The department offers computerized assessment tools, personalized mock interview and counseling appointments, an extensive library of career resources, career fairs and on campus recruiting, and internship/employment opportunities. The Washington Center for Internships and Academic Seminars offers numerous scholarship opportunities for students with disabilities. The Washington Center is working to help students develop leadership skills and gain valuable work experience in government, business and the non-profit sector. The Washington Center will complement students’ professional experience with solid academic training for credit from highly qualified instructors. In addition, students will be exposed to community, national and international leaders through workshops, seminars, lectures, embassy visits, and networking events held throughout the course of each semester.
The Washington Center is able to provide competitive scholarship awards for students interested in interning in Washington, D.C. during the fall, spring, and summer semesters. ALL MAJORS SOUGHT.
