New Students With A Disability

Temple University welcomes students with a disability!

We have many years of experience in providing services for students with medical, visual, hearing, physical, learning, and psychological disabilities.

We can provide a wide range of reasonable accommodations, some of which will include:

Orientation and Placement Test Accommodations

 

If you are a student with a disability and require reasonable accommodations during orientation and placement testing, then follow the 5 easy steps below and let us help you!

  1. Call DRS immediately (telephone number 215 204-1280)
  2. Fax/mail your documentation of disability to DRS, along with your contact information, at least two weeks before your placement test date

  1. DRS will contact you to discuss your placement test requirements and any other requirements you may have to participate in University classes and activities
  2. DRS will issue a letter of accommodation to the Measurement and Research Center (MARC)—MARC manages the placement testing at Temple University
  3. You will call MARC at 215 204-8611 to arrange an appointment to complete your placement test with accommodations
