New Students With A Disability

Temple University welcomes students with a disability!

We have many years of experience in providing services for students with medical, visual, hearing, physical, learning, and psychological disabilities.

We can provide a wide range of reasonable accommodations, some of which will include:

Accessible residence
Sign language interpreters
Assistive listening devices
Assistive technology
Material in alternate format (large prints, Braille, audio, etc.)
Placement test accommodations (extended time, use of PC, etc.)

CHARLOTTE W. NEWCOMBE FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS:

The 2009-2010 application for the Charlotte W. Newcombe Foundation Scholarship is available through this web site.

Please note:

Applications are due the third Friday of every month from September – November and January – April, pending availability of funding.
Eligibility criteria have changed substantially. You should read the criteria carefully before completing the application. Students who do not meet the criteria will be considered ineligible, and their applications will not be considered.
Only TYPED and COMPLETE applications will be considered.
Lydia will be available to assist students in completing applications at the following times. She can assist with navigating Owlnet and financial websites. She will not write essay responses for you:
Monday: 1:00-3:00
Thursday: 12:30-2:30
