Paul Frick, Ph.D.

Paul Frick is a graduate of Louisiana State University as well as the University of Georgia, where he got his Ph.D. in 1990.  Dr. Frick is currently at the University of New Orleans, where he has been a Professor of Psychology since 1999.  Most recently, he has also taken on the responsibilities of Director of the Applied Developmental Program at UNO as well as the responsibilities of Graduate Program Coordinator.

Dr. Frick's research in the Developmental Psychopathology Lab focuses on the precursors to child and adolescent emotional and behavioral problems.  He is especially interested in the risk factors associated with youth who demonstrate the callous-unemotional interpersonal style. 

In addition to his work at UNO, Dr. Frick is also the Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology and is also on the editorial board for the Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology as well as the Journal of Abnormal Psychology.
