Claire B. Kopp, PhD.

Dr. Kopp is a Developmental Psychologist that lives in Los Angeles.  She is a faculty affiliate at Claremont Graduate University and an adjunct professor at UCLA.  Her program of research centers around social and emotional development during infancy and early childhood, with particular emphasis on the development of emotion regulation and self-regulation. In 2003, Kopp wrote a book on infant and toddler development entitled, Baby Steps: A Guide to Your Child's Social, Physical, and Emotional Development in the First Two Years.  In addition, Kopp wrote Child: Development in a Social Context with Joanne B. Krakow in 1982.
