The mission of the Department of Restorative
Dentistry is to advance multidisciplinary instruction, patient
care and research through its programs in dental anatomy and occlusion,
restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, dental materials, and general
dentistry.
To accomplish this mission, the department:
- provides contemporary educational programs
for predoctoral, graduate, and continuing education students
- provides high quality general, restorative,
and prosthodontic dental treatment within the framework of comprehensive
care.
- conducts research and other scholarly
and creative activity in the various disciplines of the department,
involving faculty, predoctoral students, and graduate students
- supports the broader missions of the
School of Dentistry and Temple University
