Our training program is focused on the provision of quality educational experiences to train clinically competent dentists to address the oral health issues of children and adolescents. Introduction & Background: Welcome to the Division of Pediatric Dentistry web page. The Division balances teaching, patient care and professional service activities. The student's experiences include providing preventive, restorative and emergency care as well as growth and development evaluations in a comprehensive, caring, and ethical way. Educational experiences are attained through comprehensive care in the Pediatric Dentistry clinic and community service. Opportunities exist for externships. The Divisions faculty are involved in didactic, preclinical, clinical, continuing education and extramural teaching activities.
