The tripartite
mission of the Temple University Department of Endodontics is:
(1) to teach (i.e., to transfer the existing knowledge pertaining
to the treatment of diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues),
(2) to provide service (i.e., to apply the existing body
of knowledge pertaining to pulpal and periapical disease, to the
treatment of our patients, and
(3) to conduct research (to to expand the existing body of
knowledge pertaining to the pulp and periapical tissues).
