Dr. Henry J. Rankow received his BS from Ohio State University in 1968, his D.D.S. from Columbia University in 1972 and his Certificate in Endodontology from Columbia University in 1975. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Rankow presently is a Clinical Professor in the graduate program in endodontology. He has been teaching at Temple University since 1981. His responsibilities include co-directing the Current Clinical Concept course as well as the Endodontic Graduate Surgery course. He has authored many articles, particularly in trauma, tooth avulsion, emergency endodontics and guided tissue regeneration. Dr. Rankow has also been invited to lecture nationally and internationally. In addition to his responsibilities at Temple, Dr. Rankow was past president of the Harrisburg Dental Society and the Pennsylvania Association of Endodontists and he served on the Board Of Directors of the American Association of Endodontists. Presently, he is a site visitor for the Council on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. Dr. Rankow lives and practices in the Harrisburg-Hershey area.
