The Temple Center for Professional Development in Career and Technical Education offers career-long services to Career and Technical Education(CTE) professionals throughout the seventeen counties that comprise the Eastern Region of Pennsylvania. Its mission is to facilitate the professional development of all educators who work with career-bound students.

The Center serves secondary and post-secondary teachers and administrators in the areas of agricultural education; business, computer and information technology education; family and consumer sciences education; health occupations education; industrial education; marketing education; technology education and technical education.

It plays a vital role in the professional development of teachers, specialists, guidance counselors, and administrators who prepare students both for the workplace and for continuing their education.

The Temple Center is one of three similar professional development centers across the state supported by the Bureau of Career and Technical Education of the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Center services supplement the degree offerings in three concentrations in the career and technical education program in the Teaching & Learning Department in the College of Education, Temple University.
