The Center at Temple University provides professional services to teachers, specialists, administrators, and career and technical education students in local school districts. The Center:

Provides management for career and technical professional personnel development

Develops and maintains a comprehensive Occupational Competency Assessment program

|
Provides off-campus outreach services leading to career and technical teacher and cooperative coordinator certification through field-based/competency-based teacher education (FB/CBTE)

|
Provides off-campus outreach services in the career and technical education curriculum specialist, supervisor, director certification, and teacher leadership programs through traditional graduate courses and/or field-based/competency-based leadership education (FB/CBLE)

|
Provides continuing technical and professional updating, including workshops and seminars for personnel from career and technical education
|
|
Provides pre-induction, professional education for clients from business, industry, and the health sciences who
lack pedagogical education
|
|
Provides an occupational experience program
|
|
Provides placement services for career and technical professional personnel
|
|
Provides a recruitment system for career and technical professional personnel
|
|
Assists schools in developing and revising curricula
|
|
Provides assistance for career and technical educators serving students who are learning disabled and/or disadvantaged
|
|
Provides support for research in career and technical education
