| ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
The Master of Education program is open to those persons who meet the general admission standards of both the College of Education and the Graduate School and who can present evidence of the experience required for professional service in the field of Career and Technical education.Programs must be planned and approved by the master's candidate and the appointed advisor.
Advance Standing and Transfer Credits
Up to six graduate semester hours may be transferred to this program, and requires the completion of minimum of thirty-six semester hours distributed as follows:

Comprehensive Examination
All candidates for the master's degree are required to take a written comprehensive examination at the completion of all course work.
Certification
The completion of this master's program results in initial certification or adds to an existing certification. Student teaching is part of the above courses for certification. However, in consultation with an adviser courses selected for the master's degree can be applied towards additional certification. The master's candidate should discuss this possibility with the assigned advisor at the time the entire program is planned. Also, the students must have completed three courses in marketing as a prerequisite.
The course in research(Ed Admin 402) is required for the degree, and is not a certification requirement. |
