The program’s first two classes, Step 1 and Step 2, are tuition free. Step 1introduces lesson planning and includes 5 trips to a local public classroom to observe and teach lessons so you can try teaching right away. You can opt out of the program at any time with no penalty.

  • Strong collaboration with districts and schools to transition TUteach participants from preservice study to full-time classroom teaching
  • Master Teacher Herb Green, with 37 years of experience, teaches the first two classes, advises TUteach students and administers the program
  • The TUteach suite in Barton A306 provides dedicated space for study, collaboration and advising
  • A 2-year, post-program professional development and support network
