- 09/2010: High-Performance Computing Seminar and Lecture Series
ICMS member Dr. Axel Kohlmeyer
will be presenting a series of lectures introducing high-performance
computing topics to the Temple community with generous support from
our Computer Services.
The lectures will focus on concepts and general ideas from
the practical and pragmatic perspective of a user. There is no
attendence fee, but seats will have to be reserved through
the http://www.temple.edu/cs/seminars. For more details on the lecture contents

A paper
where group members developed parametrizations and contributed
coarse grain molecular
dynamics simulations of self-assembling Janus Dendrimers
has been published in
Science.
- 04/2010:
The ICMS is part of an
interdisciplinary team from Temple University
that received an $840,000
NSF MRI-R2 award to build a high-performance
hybrid GPU/CPU linux cluster system.
This state-of-the-art system will provide
unprecedented on campus high-performance computing resources
to researchers and students at Temple University.
