MAY Graduation ACTIVITIES

The 2012 May Graduation Activities have been scheduled as follows:

Wednesday, May 9, 2:00pm, Student Pavilion

Survey for 2012 CST Graduates

Complete the 2012 survey and be eligible to win a $50 Visa gift card.

RSVP and Tickets:
Go to www.temple.edu/commencement to RSVP between March 7 and March 30 to claim your tickets (maximum of 4) for the University Commencement. You will be prompted to RSVP for tickets for the CST Graduation Ceremony as well; however tickets are not required for the CST Graduation Ceremony . University Commencement tickets will be available for pick up, with a photo ID, between April 23 - 27 in the Office of Student Services, 1810 Liacouras Walk, Suite 203.

University Commencement :
Information on the 10:00 AM University Commencement, held at the Liacouras Center, can be found at the Commencement website: www.temple.edu/commencement.

CST Graduation Ceremony:

Check-In:
Students should arrive at the West doors of the Student Pavilion (these are the doors facing 15th street) for check-in. These doors will open at 3:15pm. CST Staff will help graduates find their seats, and will provide instruction on the ceremony procedures. Guests should enter via the main doors facing North (these face the tennis courts). These doors will open at 3:30pm. Guest seating is on the main floor, and is general, non-reserved seating.

Mandatory Rehearsal:
A mandatory rehearsal / Q&A session will be held on Wednesday, May 9, at 2:00 PM in the Student Pavilion. All students attending the CST Graduation Ceremony must attend the rehearsal.

Prohibited items:
Please note that balloons are prohibited in the Liacouras Center and in the Student Pavilion.

Parking:
One parking pass is available to each student who will be attending the May graduation activities. The pass will admit one car, one time, to an on-campus lot specified on the pass. The parking pass can be picked up along with your tickets.

Cap and Gown:
Graduates can order their cap and gown through this website: http://www.oakhalli.com/TempleUniversity/

Special Needs:
Please indicate any special needs you have on the RSVP Web page at www.temple.edu/commencement.

Pictures:
A professional photographer will photograph each graduate as they walk across the stage at the CST Graduation Ceremony. These photographs will be available online for purchase after the ceremony, at http://www.uscandids.com

Diploma Information:
Diplomas will be mailed to the address provided on the graduation application within six to eight weeks of graduation.

Note:

  • The University Commencement is open to all Temple schools and colleges.
  • The CST Graduation Ceremony is for College of Science and Technology students only.
