Earth and Environmental Science
Program Overview
The Department of Earth and Environmental Science offers a two-year M.S. program which includes: graduate courses in geology, weekly graduate seminars, qualifying exams, and research leading to a master's thesis. Graduates of the program have been very successful in securing positions in industry and government as well as being accepted into doctoral programs.

Assistantships
The department offers a number of teaching and research assistantships, each of which carries a stipend and remission of tuition. All applicants are considered for aid; most are supported for a two year period.
