The Tenure and Promotions Committee shall be appointed by the College Executive Committee in consultation with the Dean of the College, and shall be composed of nine members, including one member from each of the Departments of the College, and three at-large members. There shall be no more than one at-large member from any Department. Department Chairs are not eligible to serve on the Tenure and Promotions Committee. The terms for this Committee will be three years as voting members, and will be staggered, so that each year three members will leave the committee to be replaced by newly appointed members. Normally, members who have served a three year term on the Tenure and Promotions Committee shall not be eligible for immediate reappointment; Only under special circumstances shall a member of this Committee serve two consecutive terms; Under no circumstances can a member of this Committee serve more than six consecutive years.
