Joining the Environmental Studies Listserv
All are welcome to join the listserv for Environmental Studies students. Once subscribed, you will receive announcements about the program, about academic and social activities, and about internship and job opportunities. You can also participate in discussions on the listserv. You need not be an Environmental Science student or even a current Temple student to subscribe. The only prerequisite is an interest in the Environmental Studies program and related activities. Here are the ways to join the listserv:
- Send email to listserv@listserv.temple.edu and simply say in the message: "sub TUENV-STUDENTS first name last name"
- If that doesn't work, then send an e-mail message to Environmental Studies listserv manager rmason@temple.edu
NOTE: For certain non-Temple e-mail addresses, you will have to use Option #2. You are welcome to search all previous listserv messages through the Listserv archives.
Joining the Geology Listserv
An additional group Environmental Science students may want to be aware of is the Geology Club. This group does some environmental service work and raises funds for club field trips. You can find out more about the club on the Earth and Environmental Science web site. Environmental Science students have regularly been officers in the club. The listserv for geology provides information about club activities and guest speakers in the department. Here are the ways to join the listserv:
- Send email to listserv@listserv.temple.edu and simply say in the message: "sub GEOSTUDENTS first name last name"
- If that doesn't work, then send an e-mail message to the listserv manager nyq@temple.edu
