John Ambroseo rose from Marketing Product Manager to President and Chief Executive Officer of Coherent, a world leader in laser design and manufacturing with yearly revenues exceeding $500 million. He recently led Coherent through the incorporation of the large-volume production of small, inexpensive, optically pumped lasers to Coherent's traditional core business of building large lasers for semiconductor manufacturers.
