Career Planning Basics

CST International Exchange Programs

CST students can participate in international exchange programs in Korea, Taiwan, and China.
Application deadline: October 10 for Spring 2010 semester; March 10 for 2010-11 academic year.
Program fees: students pay full-time, regular tuition to Temple University for the semester(s) spent at a partner institution abroad.
Financial aid: up to five CST students each year will receive up to $2,000 in financial aid to cover their round-trip airplane ticket. Most financial aid and scholarships can also be used for the international exchange programs. Additional scholarships may be available from the host institution to offset some of the tuition, housing, and/or health insurance costs.
Eligibility criteria: any Temple student (graduate or undergraduate) who completed the equivalent of a full-year of study at Temple, if their GPA is 3.0 or higher and they are in good academic standing.
Chinese language instruction: prior knowledge of Chinese language is desirable, but not required. All programs offer free Chinese language courses (various levels).
Academic courses: courses equivalent to the required and elective Temple curriculum will be chosen for each student. Courses are available in English and Chinese. All academic credits can be transferred and used for graduation requirements.
How to apply: contact Dr. Olga Vilceanu, Director of International Programs and Career Services, CST
