Biographical Sketch
Chang-Hee Won graduated from
After graduating
from the university, he worked at the Electronics and Telecommunications
Research Institute as a Senior Research Engineer in the Department of Satellite
Communications Systems. There, he worked
in the area of satellite control and navigation systems. He joined academia in 2000 at the University
of North Dakota as an assistant professor of the Department of Electrical
Engineering. In addition to his
appointment in the Department of Electrical Engineering, he was appointment as
an adjunct professor at the Department of Space Studies at the University of
North Dakota in 2003. Dr. Won moved to Temple University in 2005. During his tenure at two universities, he taught eight different electrical engineering courses, worked on two
large NASA remote sensing projects, published in control and navigation theory,
received Department of Defense research grants, and obtained National
Science Foundation grants.
Currently, he is an associate professor of the Department of Electrical
and Computer Engineering at

interests include stochastic optimal control theory, systems
engineering, sensor
networking, navigation, and tactile imaging sensors. He has
authored more than thirty peer-reviewed journal papers and presented more than
