Connecting to
tusecurewireless or turesnet

Mac OS X Lion - Full Setup Procedure

Registering (For TUresnet users only)

If you are planning to use the turesnet or turesnetextra network, you must register your computer before you can connect.

You do not need to register your computer if you are using the tusecurewireless network.

Register now
Connecting (For all users)
1. Click Apple > System Preferences. Sample Screen

2. Click Network.

3. Click Wi-Fi > Advanced. Sample Screen
4. Under Preferred Networks, click the + sign. Sample Screen

5. Enter the following information:

a. Network Name:
tusecurewireless or turesnet

b. Security:
WPA2 Enterprise

c. Mode:
Automatic

d Your AccessNet username and password

Then click OK.

6. Click OK. Sample Screen
7. Type your Mac administrator password and click OK. Sample Screen

8. At the Network screen, change the Network Name to tusecurewireless or turesnet and click Apply.

The connection will initiate.

9. "Wi-Fi Connected" and "Status: Connected" display to confirm the connection. To close the window, click the red close button. Sample Screen
