Connecting to
tusecurewireless or turesnet
Android Smart Phone or Tablet
Registering (For TUresnet users only)
If you are planning to use the turesnet or turesnetextra network, you must register your device before you can connect.
You do not need to register your device if you are using the tusecurewireless network.
Register now
Perform the following steps to connect your Android phone or tablet to the tusecurewireless or turesnet network:
1. From the main screen, press the menu button and tap Settings.
2. Tap Wireless & networks.
3. If Wi-Fi is not already selected, tap Wi-Fi to turn it on.
4. Tap Wi-Fi settings.
5. Tap tusecurewireless or turesnet.
6. On the next screen, perform the following steps:
a) Verify that EAP method is set to PEAP.
b) Set Phase 2 authentication to MSCHAPV2.
c) Scroll down to Identity and enter your AccessNet username.
d) Tap Next.
e) Tap Next.
f) In the Password box, enter your AccessNet password.
g) Tap Done.
h) Tap Connect.
