I. Overview
If you are using Mac OS X Lion and have never connected to an HP printer, you may receive the following error message when running the Print on the Go Mac OS X Wireless Installer:
lpadmin: Unable to open PPD file "/Library/Printers/PPDs/...
If this error message appears, perform the steps below install the Print on the Go software on your Mac.
| II. Modify the Printer Drivers Folder | |
| 1. Double-click the Macintosh hard drive icon. |  |
| 2. Double-click the Library folder. |  |
| 3. Double-click the Printers folder. |  |
| 4. Click the PPDs folder. Then click the File menu and select Get Info. |  |
5. Click the arrow to the left of Sharing & Permissions. |

6. Click the lock icon on the lower right portion of the PPDs Info window.

| 7. Enter your Macintosh username and password and click OK. |  |
| 8. Click the username that you are currently logged on as. In this example, the username is admin. |  |
| 9. Select Read & Write. |  |
| 10. You will notice that the logged in user now has Read & Write access. Click the sprocket icon at the bottom of the PPDs Info window and select Apply to enclosed items. |  |
| 11. At the confirmation prompt, click OK. Then close the PPDs Info window. |  |
| III. Connect to the Wireless Network
1. Connect to the tusecurewireless or TUresnet wireless networks, not WiFi4Owls. |

| IV. Re-Run the TU Wireless Mac Installer
Re-run the TU Wireless Mac Installer. |

|
1. Print either a Microsoft Office Document or other file to the TU Wireless Printers. |
|
| 2. The printer icon on the Dock will move and display a yellow caution icon. Click on this icon. | |
| 3. Click Install. |  |
| 4. When the software is installed, you will see the Printer Ready notice. Click the red close button to close the TU Wireless Printers window. |  |
VI. Reinstall the Pharos Popup Software Reinstall the Pharos Popup Software. |

| VII. Restart the Computer | |
| After you are notified that the software is installed, click the Apple menu and select Restart. |  |
| You will now be able to use Print on the Go wireless printing when connected to the tusecurewireless or TUresnet wireless networks. | |
