Technology Seminars & Workshops

The Computer Services Department offers technology seminars that are free to current Temple students, faculty, and staff. Seminars are designed for beginning as well as advanced users and cover a variety of topics, such as creating Web sites, using Microsoft Office programs, and working with applications to support instruction such as creating a Blackboard course.

Seminars are developed and taught by professional staff who are well versed in computer technology and can answer your questions. Most sessions are hands-on with handouts that you can use to follow the in-class instruction. These handouts are also useful as reference materials and for practicing the skills you learn.

The majority of seminars last approximately 3 hours, except for certification programs, which usually last one or more days. Since some of the seminars build on the skills that you have learned in previous courses, it is critical that you take the prerequisites.
