The Office of Telecommunications is pleased to announce that Verizon Wireless is the exclusive provider of cellular service for the University. Employees can also benefit from Temple's contract with Verizon.

Personal Verizon Wireless Cellular Service for Temple Employees

An added benefit of the University's agreement with Verizon Wireless is the extension of an 18% discount to Temple employees. This discount applies to all monthly access fees exceeding $34.99. In addition, Temple employees also enjoy a 25% discount on cellular accessories. To be eligible for these discounts, the account must be in the Temple employee's name.  Discounts will not be granted at Verizon Wireless retail outlets.  All discounted service and equipment must be obtained as described below.  Please note: Students are not eligible for the Verizon Wireless discounts however a link is provided below for online purchases of Verizon Wireless services and equipment.

Note: Temple University will not receive any account information or copies of personal invoices.

Verizon Wireless Service and Equipment

Verizon Wireless equipment and service can be purchased via the Verizon Wireless Extranet, which can be accessed by clicking on the below link. Equipment and voice plan options (pre-discount) are presented at www.verizonwireless.com.

Temple employees with existing Verizon Wireless cellular service can also use the Extranet to register their mobile telephone number(s) for the discount.
