SwitchboardTemple University's switchboard fields calls twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Operators handle calls to the main telephone numbers of the University and Health Science Campus, as well as internally initiated telephone calls. The Office of Telecommunications maintains monthly call statistics for Temple's switchboard. Temple University directory assistance for all campuses is available by dialing 1-7000 or 2-2000. Please provide all pertinent information including name, telephone number, department, location and any other important information. The switchboard also facilitates the placement of conference calls for meetings with multiple parties in various locations. To use this service, contact the switchboard at the telephone numbers above and provide the operator with the names and telephone numbers of the involved persons, as well as the date and time of the conference call. The switchboard is capable of placing conference calls with up to six parties; referrals to AT&T are made for calls involving more than six parties. Specific charges apply.
