Telephone & Internet service for summer conference attendees If you wish to apply for telephone and Internet service during your stay this summer at Temple, please contact your program coordinator. Note: To activate telephone and Internet service, payment is required in advance.
The following table includes the telephone and Internet service rates for June, July, and August.
Billing for telephone and Internet service will be handled by University Housing, Summer Conference Program. Local, long distance, and international calling A calling card must be used to make all outgoing calls. Calling cards in various denominations can be purchased at the 7-Eleven on Main Campus at 1900 Liacouras Walk. To place a call, dial 9 + 1 and then follow the instructions on the calling card. Students are required to bring a true touch tone telephone, not a pulse telephone. Cordless telephones are not compatible with Temple's telephone system, therefore, we do not recommend using them. Each room is equipped with telephone and Internet jacks. Telephone jacks are white; Internet jacks are red. The following table identifies the jack location for each residential facility.
Note: Your housing assignment bed number corresponds to your telephone number. The following table identifies the bed number and the bedroom assignments for the residential facilities.
Each attendee will have his/her own telephone number. When you arrive on campus, depress #*113 from your telephone to obtain your telephone number.
