Microsoft-Work-at-Home Program Offers Free Software

If you find that you are taking Temple work home, be sure to look into the Microsoft Work-at-Home Software Distribution Program. Through this program, you can obtain Microsoft software for your home computer at no cost for work-related purposes only (and not for family members). The software programs available for eligible faculty and staff are Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2013, Office Professional Plus 2010 (32-bit only), Windows 7 Upgrade (32-bit), Windows 8 Upgrade (32 or 64 bit) and Office for Mac Standard 2011.

To obtain the software, bring a valid Temple ID and a completed copy of the Microsoft Work-at-Home acceptance form to the Computer Business Services office on Tuesdays or Wednesdays between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Note that Computer Business Services has been temporarily relocated to the 8th floor of Carnell Hall.

Please be aware that Graduate Assistants, Research Assistants and/or employees who do not use computers as part of their regular duties are not eligible for the Work-At-Home Program.

If you have any questions, contact Computer Business Services at 215-204-6700.
