USB flash drives are easy to lose. Case in point? The image featured above is a pile of flash drives that have been turned in to the library. Many more have been lost in the TECH Center and across labs on campus and have not been turned in.
No doubt it’s important to backup your files, but instead of using flash drives, consider using OWLbox for your storage needs. Temple University students, faculty and staff receive 50GB of free storage in the cloud that you can access with your AccessNet username and password. OWLbox is available from anywhere you have an internet connection for easy access to your documents, photos and music. Best of all, you can’t lose OWLbox! Just create a folder on OWLbox, open it and drag or upload your files.
For guidance on the types of information you can store on OWLbox, see the details posted on the OWLbox login screen.
