With Temple's WebEx conferencing service, you can conduct live online classes or meetings conveniently from your office or home. Below are a few best practice tips to make the most of WebEx:
- For an easy way to provide your attendees with a link to your meetings, check the option to Send a copy of the invitation to me. You will then receive two emails, each with a link for accessing the meeting (one for you and the other for your attendees).
Forward the attendee link to your participants or post it in Blackboard for your students. Participants should use this link to join in the session instead of going to webex.temple.edu, foxsbm.webex.com, templeuniversity.webex.com, or tueducation.webex.com.
- If you plan to have a regularly scheduled class or meeting, set it up as a recurring meeting so you can reuse the same link.
- Be prepared by logging in and testing your WebEx session at least a couple of days before your scheduled event.
