It's always handy to know a few web browser tricks. Try these two:
- Zoom in or out
Looking at a website where the text is too small or the graphics are too large? On the PC, you can easily zoom in or out by holding down the Control (Ctrl) key while moving the mouse scroll wheel (forward to zoom in; backward to zoom out). Alternatively, you can also hold down the Ctrl key (PC) or the Command key (Mac) while pressing either the + or - key.
- Print only the web page
By default, web page printouts include header/footer information, such as page title, date, website address, and number of pages. Before you print, set up your printouts to appear less cluttered by omitting this information.
In Internet Explorer and Firefox, click the File menu and select Page Setup. Then, look for the Header and Footer tab/option, click each of the six boxes, and select empty or blank.
In Chrome and Safari, select Print and then uncheck the Headers and Footers box.
