The seminars listed below are offered in the Fall and Spring semesters and during Summer Sessions. Check the Seminar Schedule for a list of classes, dates, and times the seminars are offered. All sessions are taught in the Training Room on the 7th floor of Wachman Hall. Call 215-204-5555 for registration and further information.

Statistical Processing I
Prerequisite: Familiarity with computers
This seminar describes hardware and software availability; explains data preparation for statistical analysis by computer.

Statistical Processing II
Prerequisite: Statistical Processing I
This seminar explains the computer processing of research data.

Comparisons of Statistical Software
Prerequisites: Statistical Processing I & II or equivalent experience.
This seminar identifies the criteria for selecting a statistical package on the mainframe or on a microcomputer, and compares features.

SPSS for Windows
Prerequisites: Statistical Processing I & II and experience using Windows
This seminar describes SPSS statistical software running under a Windows interface.

SAS for Windows
Prerequisite: Statistical Processing I & II and experience using Windows
This seminar describes SAS statistical software running under a Windows interface

Minitab for Windows
Prerequisites: Statistical Processing I & II and experience using Windows
This seminar describes Minitab statistical software running under a Windows interface.

SPSS Syntax for Windows
Prerequisites: Statistical Processing I & II and experience using Windows
Learn the syntax that represents your menu choices. Create an SPSS command history file and be able to review and modify it for future use.

Statistical Software File Transfer
Prerequisite: Knowledge of any statistical software
Having problems transferring files from SPSS to SAS? This seminar introduces statistical file transfer for users who need to switch between different software packages or different computer operating systems as they analyze their data.

SAS/Unix - Statistical Package
Prerequisites: Statistical Processing I & II, Introduction to Unix
This seminar introduces the use of SAS statistical software in batch mode on the Compute Unix system.

STATA/Unix- Statistical Package
Prerequisites: Statistical Processing: Parts I & II 
This seminar introduces the use of STATA statistical software in batch mode and interactive mode on the Compute Unix system.

SPSS Graphics for Windows
Prerequisite: SPSS for Windows
This seminar introduces SPSS graphics under a Windows platform. Participants will have the opportunity to create SPSS graphics.

Introduction to SAS Graphics
Prerequisite: SAS Statistical Package 
Learn how to create and preview SAS graphics on a Windows platform

Intermediate SAS Graphics
Prerequisite: Introduction to SAS Graphics
Participants will run SAS programs under Windows that show the use of graph catalogs, graph replay, and graph annotations.
