Temple vendor discounts

Several manufacturers and third-party vendors offer educational discounts for computer hardware and software.

Manufacturers

Apple, Dell, and Gateway offer educational discounts on new computers for Temple students, faculty, and staff.  Contact information is provided below. 

Make sure to also inquire about educational pricing when shopping through a mail-order company or other retailer, since they may offer educational discounts as well. Because the PC industry is intensely competitive, however, educational discounts are not as generous as in the past.

Dell	Go to the Dell Temple University (Personal Purchases) website. Note that Dell's website is best viewed using Internet Explorer. To speak with an educational pricing representative, call 888-973-3355.

Temple University students can now save up to 60% off the regular academic prices on the following Microsoft products:

• Microsoft Office 2003 Professional:

• Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac:
  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Entourage, and Messenger

• Microsoft Windows XP Operating System

Temple University and Journey Education Marketing Company have joined together to make these special prices available to all Temple University students.
