Setting Up Your Residence Hall Computer
for Internet Access

  • During the Fall 2008 move-in period, Computer Services staff will be on-site in the residence halls to assist you with getting your computer connected to Temple's network. For more information, refer to the Fall 2008 Move-In Schedule.

  • To obtain Internet access, connect your new computer to the network jack closest to your assigned bed. Then, go to http://getconnected.temple.edu and follow the directions for registration.

  • Wondering if your computer is Ethernet ready? Check to see if there is a port on the back or side of your computer shown with a symbol similar to the following:

If you do not see these symbols, review the operating system instruction sheets listed below to determine if you have an Ethernet port.
