Students View Grades via TUportal/SSB

As soon as your instructor submits your grades in the Banner system, you will be able to view them in Self-Service Banner through TUportal. To access your grades:

1. Log in to TUportal.
2. Select the Student Tools tab on left.
3. In the Records channel in the right column, select View Final Grades.

Listserv Upgraded to Newest Release

The University Listserv system was recently upgraded to the latest release, Listserv 16.0. The new version has a new streamlined web interface and enhanced security features. In addition, Listserv 16.0 is LDAP compliant, therefore, you can use your AccessNet password to log in to the Listserv system.

You can preview the new system by reviewing a short video presentation for list owners. In addition, quick reference guides with instructions for performing the most common tasks are available for list owners and subscribers.

Buying a Computer on a Tight Budget

Need to purchase a computer for your department or yourself on a tight budget? Go green and get a tremendous bargain too by buying a computer from Temple's award winning Computer Recycling Center (CRC).

Using a baseline standard, the CRC staff refurbishes older computers and monitors retired from university service. The repurposed equipment is made available for purchase first by departments for university use and then for students, faculty, and staff for personal use. The items for purchase are featured on the CRC's web store.

Pay Less for Software with Academic Pricing

Current Temple students, faculty, and staff can take advantage of greatly reduced academic prices when purchasing software from specific websites. Computer Business Services has negotiated contracts with a number of vendors for discounts on many popular programs. Many discounts are substantial, for example, you can purchase Microsoft Office 2010 for $99.99.

For a list of available programs, go to Journey Ed or Software House International (SHI). (For Account Sign-In on the SHI site, use templeuser as the login and temple as the password.) Search the sites for software you wish to buy. When you are ready to make a purchase and are prompted for your e-mail address, use your @temple.edu address to verify your Temple affiliation.
