Services We Offer > Services for Temple Student Housing Residents

Students in Temple University residence halls (Ambler East, Ambler West, Beech Hall, 1300 Cecil B. Moore, Elmira Jeffries, Hardwick, Johnson, 1940 Liacouras Walk, Peabody, Podiatry, Triangle, Triangle House, Temple Towers, or White Hall) have access to a high speed University Internet connection in their rooms. Instructions on connecting to the Internet in your room are available at the Get Connected site.

If you have questions or problems, the Computer Services Help Desk is available to assist you. Our consultants will try to get you connected over the phone. If there is some problem with your Internet connection, or with your computer, that prevents you from getting connected, we can schedule a consultant to visit your room to try and resolve the problem. We can also visit your room if you are unable to install the required University Symantec AntiVirus or Symantec Firewall software on your computer or if you are having other problems related to computer viruses and/or spyware.

All consultations in student rooms are done by appointment only. The maximum time allotted for consultant visits is one hour. During this time, we will make a best effort to resolve the problem with your computer and Internet connection.

If it is likely that your computer may have a problem that cannot be resolved in the one hour time frame, you will be advised to contact the Help Desk to make an appointment to bring your computer to our PC Clinic.
